| Description | This ride is for sand rats, with a full 12 days
of sand riding. This is one the roughest,
toughest, grittiest tours we offer. This ride is full of sand
dunes, gravel
roads, snotty tracks, desert crossings and rugged outback towns!
After leaving Alice springs we tackle the Madigan Line and the
thousand odd sand dunes before arriving at the Birdsville Pub
where cold beer and tall stories will both be flowing. The next
day we tackle Big Red then head west over the French line and
another 1200 dunes. This time we tackle the steeper east side of
the dunes and find out who can still cut the mustard in the
desert. 3 days later a swim at Dalhousie Hot springs soothes
those tired and battered bodies before a short ride along the
Road of Stones and into the Mount Dare Pub. Leaving Mount Dare
for the last days ride back into Alice Springs. This ain't any
luxury tour. But if you have a sense of adventure, and want bragging
rights to last a lifetime, maybe you should clear your calendar.
